"It's not the sea that drowns you; it's the puddle."
I often share with my clients that their decision to enter therapy offers a break in the waves. Therapy provides a safe, calm space where they can free themselves to explore and share their past and current thoughts and beliefs and begin to envision their goals and hopes for their future.
In the therapy space, I encourage you to let go of your assumptions of what you “should” be, enabling you to find your inner resilience and work with your innate strengths. Despite your challenges and those waves that seem to be continually breaking over you, you are strong enough to show up in therapy and plot your own course toward that horizon beyond the waves.
As your partner on this journey, it is my privilege to offer professional guidance and warm, non-judgmental acceptance as you make your way toward a more hopeful and fulfilling future.
